Custom Group Travel for Clubs, Organizations & Families
There’s probably a trip your group has talked about more than once.
Maybe it’s a river cruise, a journey built around music or food, or a chance to get everyone together somewhere you’ve always wanted to go.
I’m Chris Segura, founder of Voyage & Co. I help group organizers work through the choices and travel arrangements that turn “we should do that someday” into a plan.
Based in the Lafayette area, I work with groups across Louisiana and nationwide.
What brings your group together?
Clubs, alumni associations and shared interests
The connection is already there. The trip can grow from it.
Whether your members enjoy music, history, food, wine or exploring somewhere new, I’ll help you consider destinations and travel options that fit those interests.
We’ll talk about the people likely to join, the pace they’d enjoy and what would make the trip worth their time.
Faith and community groups
Your group’s purpose is the starting point.
From there, we’ll consider the destination, budget and practical needs of your travelers. We’ll also talk about how much time to spend together and where a little flexibility would help.
Families and celebrations
Getting everyone together is special. Making the trip work for different ages and interests takes some thought.
That could mean a villa stay with shared meals, a group cruise with plenty of choices or a family journey that balances planned activities with free time.
We’ll look for an approach that gives everyone something to enjoy.
You don’t have to figure it all out first.
You may be the person who suggested the trip, volunteered to organize it or somehow ended up with the job.
You don’t need to arrive with every answer.
We’ll start with who might travel, possible dates, an approximate budget and the experience you’re hoping to create. I’ll help you work through the travel options and coordinate the arrangements we agree on.
Room or cabin blocks, private activities and individual payment arrangements depend on the suppliers and how the trip is structured. We’ll make those details clear before people commit.
A few ideas to get the conversation started
- A music-loving group visiting European cities, with performances and time to enjoy the places in between.
- An alumni group sharing a river cruise, with an excursion planned around a common interest.
- A family gathering for a milestone birthday or anniversary, with shared meals and activities for different generations.
These are starting points, not scheduled departures. Your trip will depend on your group, availability and the arrangements we put together.
How group planning works
- Tell me about your group. Who might come, what connects you and why would you like to travel together?
- Talk through the practical side. We’ll discuss dates, budget, traveler needs and any must-haves.
- Choose a direction. We’ll review suitable options and clarify your role as the organizer before inviting people to commit.
- Confirm the arrangements. Supplier terms, payments, deadlines and traveler communication are agreed as the plan comes together.
Questions group organizers often ask
Do I need a confirmed list of travelers?
No. An estimate is enough for our first conversation. I’ll explain when we’ll need firmer numbers and what commitments the suppliers require.
Can everyone pay separately?
That may be possible, depending on the suppliers and group arrangements. We’ll confirm how payments will work and when they’re due.
Will you come with us?
Personal hosting is something we agree on separately. It isn’t automatically included in a private group trip. If you’d rather join a departure I’m planning to host, take a look at Hosted Journeys.
Could a trip help raise funds for our organization?
It’s something we can explore. Any arrangement would need supplier confirmation and clear terms before you promote it to members. Fundraising proceeds aren’t guaranteed.
What does group planning cost?
Any applicable professional planning fees are agreed with you before that work begins. Your proposal will also explain supplier payment deadlines and cancellation terms.
Let’s start with the idea.
Tell me about your group, how many people might travel and when you’d like to go.
If you already have a destination in mind, I’d love to hear it. If you don’t, we can figure out where to begin.
