Corporate Retreats, Incentive Trips & Client-Appreciation Travel

Some trips are about saying thank you. Others give your team time to reconnect or your leadership group a chance to step back and think.

Whatever you have in mind, I’ll help you turn that idea into a trip that makes sense for your business and the people coming along.

I’m Chris Segura, founder of Voyage & Co. Based in the Lafayette area, I plan corporate retreats, employee-incentive trips and client-appreciation travel for businesses across Louisiana and nationwide.

Who are you bringing together?

A thank-you for your best clients

When you work closely with people over the years, sometimes dinner doesn’t feel like quite enough.

A shared trip gives you time together outside the usual business setting. That might be a river cruise through Europe, a few days at a Caribbean resort or a journey built around something your clients enjoy.

We’ll start with who you’re inviting and what would make the experience meaningful to them.

A reward for your team

If you’re recognizing a job well done, the trip should feel worth looking forward to.

I’ll help you consider where to go, when to travel and how to make the budget work. We’ll also talk through the details that shape the experience: whether guests can bring a companion, how everyone will get there and how much of the schedule should be planned.

Time away for your leadership team

A good retreat needs room for both useful conversations and a little breathing space.

We’ll look at places that suit the work you want to accomplish, with comfortable accommodations, suitable meeting space and opportunities to spend time together beyond the agenda.

You’ll work directly with me.

Before travel, my work included business ownership and coordinating television productions across the United States, Mexico and Canada. That experience taught me to ask questions early, keep track of the details and adapt when plans change.

For your trip, I’ll start by learning what you want to accomplish, who’s traveling and what you’re comfortable spending. Then we’ll work through suitable options and agree on the arrangements.

You’ll know who to call, and I’ll know the plan we’ve built together.

How we’ll get started

  1. Talk through the idea. Who is the trip for? What’s the occasion or goal? Do you have dates, a destination or a budget in mind?
  2. Find the right direction. I’ll help you compare options and understand the differences in the experience, cost and terms.
  3. Agree on the details. Before reservations are finalized, we’ll confirm the scope, payment arrangements, deadlines and responsibilities.
  4. Get everyone ready. We’ll bring the itinerary and travel information together so your guests know what to expect.

A few questions you may have

Do we need to know where we want to go?

No. You can come to me with a destination or just an idea. Knowing who’s traveling, your possible dates and an approximate budget gives us a useful place to start.

Can you plan a trip for our clients instead of our employees?

Yes. Client-appreciation trips are part of what I offer. We’ll talk about your guests and how you want to spend time together, then build from there.

Do you charge a planning fee?

Any professional planning fee depends on the work involved and is agreed with you before that work begins. We’ll also review supplier pricing, deposits and cancellation terms as part of the proposal.

Can we combine meetings with leisure time?

Yes. We can look at destinations and venues that allow for both. The facilities, activities and arrangements will depend on what’s available and what we agree to include.

Will you travel with us?

If you’d like me to host the trip personally, we can discuss that. Personal hosting is arranged separately and included in the proposal when agreed.

What support is included?

We’ll spell that out in your proposal, including the travel arrangements, your role as the organizer and the support available. If you need meeting production or around-the-clock assistance, let’s discuss it early so those needs can be scoped separately.

Tell me what you’re thinking.

You don’t need a finished plan. Tell me a little about your business, who you’d like to invite, when you might travel and what you have in mind.

We’ll take it from there.
